Rajvi designed the concept of Shanti in 2020/21 during her final year at Bournemouth University studying Industrial Design. The idea arose during the height of the pandemic when mental health grew as a priority.

Madeofwood is a versatile Belgian joinery that primarily creates custom-made furniture for private and B2B clients. They were very enthusiastic about the idea of participating in the creation of Shanti and are responsible for the fabrication of the wooden structure.
We chose to work with them due to their passion for Shanti, demonstrated through their flexibility, rigor, and availability.
G. Desmet
Since 1946, the family business G. Desmet has been shaping unique curved pieces in plywood, felt, and solid wood. With branches in Belgium and Romania, this wood-bending company is strongly committed to sustainability, innovation, and co-creation.
G. Desmet is a partner of choice due to its experience and its ability to support Inner Design's development. G. Desmet provides the shells for the seating and backrest of Shanti.
Drisag
Drisag is a Belgian family company known for its high-quality manufacturing solutions. Beyond creating their own high-quality products, they also open their doors to collaborations with other brands that strive for superior quality, local craftsmanship, and a seamless manufacturing experience.
Drisag is a key player in the development and production of Shanti and is responsible for the assembly of the entire product.
Fabraa
Fabraa transforms recycled materials into beautiful, durable upholstery fabrics, promoting sustainability by repurposing waste that would otherwise pollute the environment. Their approach ensures affordability alongside eco-consciousness.
